Practice a conversation. Explore a perspective.
GRACE is being designed around fictional patient situations where a student considers what to say, explores a conversation path, and reflects on the patient’s perspective. It creates a setting for examining words and responses before discussing them with a facilitator.
- Choose a scenario: understand the patient’s situation and the learning context.
- Make decisions: consider a communication response.
- Explore outcomes: notice how the fictional conversation unfolds.
- Reflect: revisit what was heard, said, and left unexplored.
This describes the intended learning experience. The public preview illustrates it with one fixed scenario; it is not a research session or an AI conversation.
What you can explore today.
A fictional interactive preview.
One two-turn conversation with branching patient replies, four possible paths, a reflection prompt, and restart. Choices stay on the current page.
The GRACE learning tool.
The instructional model and prototype are being developed and refined. Application sessions use controlled access arranged through a facilitator. Prototype sessions are separate from this public preview.
Authoring and reflection support.
AI-assisted scenario creation and learning feedback are proposed directions. No live AI integration or validated learning outcomes are claimed.
Learning with a facilitator.
Educators can help students discuss the choices they noticed and the questions they would ask next. GRACE’s instructional model includes prebriefing, simulation, debriefing, and evaluation; some activities may be facilitated rather than automated.
We welcome conversations about the needs of nursing students, scenario design, and opportunities for facilitated practice.
